Halo Care

Independent living with someone always paying attention.

A home care hub for older people: radar-based fall detection without cameras, a voice companion that reminds and converses, vitals and sleep tracked passively, and a family circle that hears about what matters, not everything.

A moment with Halo Care

Her bathroom has no camera, yet when she slips at 06:40 the hub knows within seconds, asks if she is alright, and calls her son when she does not answer. The rest of the week it reminds her of the blood-pressure pills, orders groceries with her, and tells the family that she slept well.

The problem it removes

Care at home today is a pendant nobody wears, a phone call once a day and a camera nobody wants.

Falls go unnoticed for hours; loneliness goes unnoticed for years.

Radar fall detection — placeholder photo01 / 06

Capability 1

Radar fall detection

mmWave sensors see posture and motion through steam and darkness, with no image to leak. Falls, long lie-downs and missed get-ups are detected.

Voice companion — placeholder photo02 / 06

Capability 2

Voice companion

A patient, warm assistant that chats, reads the news, runs reminders and calls people — tuned for hearing loss and slower speech.

Passive vitals — placeholder photo03 / 06

Capability 3

Passive vitals

Breathing, heart rate and sleep quality from the bedside; weight and blood pressure from connected devices, logged without an app.

Medication and routine — placeholder photo04 / 06

Capability 4

Medication and routine

Reminders that confirm, not nag; dispenser integration; a quiet nudge to the family when a dose is missed twice.

Family circle — placeholder photo05 / 06

Capability 5

Family circle

A daily digest and the alerts that matter. Nothing else. Family can call through the hub with one tap.

Care-provider mode — placeholder photo06 / 06

Capability 6

Care-provider mode

Visit check-in, task lists, notes and escalation to a nurse line or emergency services.

How it works

Sense. Understand. Decide. Act.

  1. 01SenseCameras, radar, microphones, environmental and access sensors — chosen for the space, not the brochure.
  2. 02UnderstandVision and speech models run on an edge gateway in the room, so nothing waits for the cloud and nothing leaves it without consent.
  3. 03DecideScene rules and safety policies turn detections into decisions: escalate, notify, actuate, or stay quiet.
  4. 04ActLights, locks, motors, doors, screens, speakers and people — through open protocols and one operations console.

Operations

One console. Every event, with its evidence.

Live status, detections with the clip or image that triggered them, who was notified and what happened next. Per room, per car, per gate, per site.

Questions

What clients ask first.

Is there any video at all?

None by default. Radar and acoustics cover safety. A camera can be added in a living room if the family wants it, and the resident can switch it off.

What if the internet goes down?

Fall detection, reminders and emergency calls work on the hub with its LTE backup. Conversation falls back to the on-device assistant.

Who gets the alerts?

You decide per event type: family, a care provider, a telecare centre, or emergency services, in order, with time-outs.
