Factory and warehouse
Fire watch over racking and charging bays, PPE compliance at the line, forklift exclusion zones.
Safety & security
Cameras that understand what they see: fire, intruders, a fall in the hallway.
A smart camera platform that detects fire and smoke in seconds, tells an intruder from a resident, notices a fall or a person who has not moved, and raises the right alarm with the right people — processed on the device, not in a data centre.
A moment with Argus Vision
A spark at the back of a workshop becomes a visible flame. Eleven seconds later the site supervisor has a clip, the location and a one-tap call to the fire service, before any smoke detector has reacted. At home the same platform sees a grandmother on the kitchen floor and calls her daughter.
The problem it removes
Someone has to watch them. Smoke detectors wait for smoke to reach the ceiling. Intruder alarms cannot tell a cat from a burglar. Nobody is watching the hallway when an elderly person falls.
Capability 1
Flame, smoke and heat-signature detection in daylight and infrared, indoors and out, with false-alarm suppression for steam and headlights.
Capability 2
Person, vehicle and behaviour classification: loitering, climbing, tailgating, after-hours presence. Known residents and staff are recognised and ignored.
03 / 06Capability 3
Fall detection, long-inactivity alerts, wandering at night, missed routines — with on-device processing and no live video shared.
Capability 4
Hard hats, vests, harnesses and exclusion zones on sites and in factories, with per-zone rules.
Capability 5
Each event has a playbook: who is notified, how (push, call, SMS, siren, PA), what evidence is attached, when to escalate.
Capability 6
Retrofit onto ONVIF/RTSP cameras through an edge box; or use our AI cameras with built-in inference.
How it works
Operations
Live status, detections with the clip or image that triggered them, who was notified and what happened next. Per room, per car, per gate, per site.
| Cameras | AI cameras 4K/5MP with NPU, thermal option, IP67; or ONVIF retrofit via edge box (up to 32 streams) |
|---|---|
| Models | Fire/smoke, person/vehicle, fall, PPE, intrusion, crowd; updated over the air |
| Privacy | On-device inference, privacy masks, event-only upload, local retention |
| Alerts | App, SMS, voice call, email, siren, PA, monitoring centre (SIA/CID) |
| Integration | VMS (Milestone, Genetec), alarm panels, BMS, nurse-call, smart-home hubs |
Integrations
Deployments
Fire watch over racking and charging bays, PPE compliance at the line, forklift exclusion zones.
Fall and inactivity monitoring in common areas, night wandering alerts, visitor tracking.
Intruder detection with vehicle and face recognition at gates, after-hours loitering alerts.

Questions
No. Detection runs on the camera or the edge box. Only confirmed events, as short clips, are sent to the people you choose.
Flame and smoke models are cross-checked against motion, temperature and context (kitchen vs warehouse) and tuned per camera during commissioning.
Yes, with consent. Known people are recognised on the device and excluded from intruder rules; recognition can be turned off per camera.
